Recap and Briefing with Tara Mascarenhas, Director of Programs, Students on Ice Foundation
Blue Futures Pathways is a new Students on Ice initiative which will connect youth across Canada with education, employment and funding opportunities that inspire and support them in developing a successful career in the emerging Sustainable Blue Economy.
This project includes activities related to the ocean as well as freshwater. At the heart of our mandate, SOI will focus in particular on opportunities for under-represented, remotely located, and Indigenous youth.
Blue Futures Pathways will offer educators, employers and other key stakeholders a digital platform to engage, inform, and connect youth to careers, entrepreneurship, and innovation within the Sustainable Blue Economy.
Blue Futures Pathways is made possible with support from Canada’s Ocean Supercluster, Centre for Ocean Ventures & Entrepreneurship (COVE), ECO Canada, Mitacs and many other partners across Canada.
